Rimanenza, realized during the period of residency at CU.BO, is based on the notion of fractured visual culture. Fragmenting the film format and distributing the image along the three dimensions of the space, I intended to merge the volumetric properties of the screen with the properties of the projected images, thus breaking with its two-dimensionality and continuity. Splashes of moving images on pieces of paper, walls and floor generated a random juxtaposition and superposition of the content. The intention was that the omnipresence of the image flooded the exhibition hall, thus stimulating in the viewer multitemporal perceptions.
